HCA Meeting - Tuesday Sep 1 at 6:30 pm at the Hammock Community Center, 79 Mala Compra Rd.

We decided that the other local candidate forums and news media interviews of County Commissioners were more than enough coverage.

Instead, we have invited Commissioner Hansen along with the County Administrator (Adam Mengel or TBD) and County Engineer (Hamid Tabassian) to speak to us about important issues. They will address the effects of the Homestead Exemption Tax reduction and the future plans for funding Beach Renourishment.

Doors open at 6:00 PM. All are welcome!

The Hammock Conservation Coalition was formed to promote the conservation, preservation and beautification of the barrier island, by protecting, maintaining and enhancing intrinsic island resources.

Funds are needed for experts to defend against unreasonable development and advertising to let interested people know what is happening.
