At the 7:30 PM, Tuesday, May 6 Hammock Conservation Coalition meeting.  Tim Digby, general manager of Hammock Beach Resort, Prem Devadas, President of Salamander Hospitality, and Sheila Johnson, founder and CEO, Salamander Hotels and Resorts will give the Hammock community a report on their plans to replace the present Ocean Hammock Lodge with a 198-room hotel. Commissioner Frank Meeker will also provide a brief update on the State Legislative actions on Vacation Rentals and J.J. Grahan of Hollingsworth Gallery will present a brief proposal for the repurposing of the School Board Adult Ed property on A1A as an arts center. Refreshments and visiting begin at 7:00 PM.
