Aug 13 - Hammock Harbour center on Planning Board agenda

Hammock Harbour is coming to the Planning Board on Tuesday, August 13 at 6:00 PM, in the Board Chambers, 1769 East Moody Blvd., Bldg. 2, Bunnell, Florida 32110

The developer is planning to put six businesses in this 4.24-acre location, including a boat storage building that is almost three times the size of the current aluminum building shown above and add 133 paved parking spaces. This site is next to Hammock Hardware and surrounded by 25 single family residences.

HCA has no problem with using the existing building for dry boat storage, or adding a new restaurant on the ICW, but six businesses is essentially like putting a shopping center in a residential neighborhood, and the 40,000 SF building would be twice as wide and 100' longer.

Please join us to oppose this intense development by coming to the Planning Board hearing and wearing green. The Planning Board is only looking at variances and this could be the final stop for this development. We plan to appeal the decision that this is not more intense development than was there previously.
